NO BARE FEET- ANNUAL SOCK DRIVE 23'

We are still overjoyed with the many volunteers near and far who gave donations and or their time to help us achieve and surpass our goal. The rain ☔️ may have come but the people still came and gave of their time - We collected 696 Pairs of Socks 🧦 🧦🧦🧦 to the homeless of Houston, TX…thank you for #HelpingUsHelpSome1 We do it 4 The Invisible 1’sWe love to take pictures and show them to the world.

Hydration 4 The Homeless - COMPLETED!

Words cannot express all of the help received from either showing up in person, donating items and monies to this necessary project. Through your generosity we were able to provide 2-3 bottles of water and Gatorade , various snacks, sanitizer wipes, sanitizer and masks to over 140 people. That number is saddening because unfortunately that is at least 140 human beings that are on homeless in this horrific heat that we've been experiencing in Houston, TX and throughout the south.
I'd like to thank Quench! so very much for the donated ice coolers and individually wrapped snacks for snack bags. I'd also like to thank my 1st VP Devette Wilson and her family (Isaiah, Leah & Taylor) for opening their home so that we could do prep work for the initial project distribution. 2nd VP Elwart Waddy, Jr. for supplying all of the ice and heavy labor. Great big thanks to our Port Arthur members, Sharla Viltz-Smith donated the lovely blue bags, Martha Viltz and Journey Viltz Smith donated sanitizer wipes, water and various individual snacks, Linda Augustine and Annie Barkers donated fruit cups ,sanitizer and masks. Huge shout-out to our new members in kicking down the door and letting their volunteer light shine. Elisa Argueta, Genesis Maxwell, Kristian Kirby and Victor Anderson, who were extremely instrumental in making this project a success. Thank you to our first timers who came out Jessica, Darren and Donald.
May the Lord God Bless Each of You, Real Good!!!
